Windows 11 had launched in 2021 and successfully established its Bloom element–a symbol of growth and potential. We saw an opportunity to juxtapose that symbol against four stories of Gen Z entrepreneurs who use Windows 11 in their flourishing small business. The Windows 11 holiday campaign built and expanded upon past seasons. The colors, and textures were slightly richer and more vibrant to convey the passion and drive of four Gen Z creators. Each creator has a distinct color palette, environment and personal style. Those four personas create the foundation for four distinct use cases and collection of benefits.

The brand was stuck in a cold, techy, scientific place. It wasn't very relatable unless you took a special interest in ingredient sources or chemistry. The solution was something we dubbed 'Warm Science'–a carefully crafted brand refresh that placed humans and tactility center-stage. We introduced warm colors, texture and a human presence. What began as a request for an anthem film turned into a new brand philosophy and deep partnership that carried into the future.
Verizon needed a hype film to set the tone for their 5G Edge Keynote. They were announcing a partnership with Amazon Web Services. BUCK developed a language of color spectrums to tell this story. We were inspired by 60s video art, science, and experimental photography. The color was grainy and textual with modernist notes that still felt timeless. The video made a splash and went on to inspire a moment of maxi-color both at Verizon and on Pinterest.
We leveraged the vernacular of social media content meant to induce a sense of calm. We created four chill personas to guide customers through tax season in a calm and easy way. We successfully cut through the noise, generated buzz and drove traffic to Cash App Taxes.
"When your security is good, you don't think about your security." This simple message would take the place of complex benefits messaging keeping cognitive load low and impression high. With clever metaphors, beautiful lifestyle imagery and product shots, we kept a human centered perspective on a potentially boring and complex topic.
