Background / Bio

Described as a “transformative creative leader” by Adweek magazine, Jason has been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of clients at some of the most respected agencies in the industry. From crafting a PR activation that received 3 billion earned media impressions in 72 hours, to executing a Super Bowl initiative that Inc. Magazine praised as an example “other brands can learn from,” Jason is proud to have helped change the trajectories of some of the most famous brands in the world.

Jason has been featured as a speaker at industry conferences, served on award show juries, and led teams that have won dozens of awards, including gold medals at Cannes, the One Show, ANDYs, and Clios.

In 2021, Jason embarked on a new journey, joining the unicorn startup, Masterworks.com, as the first Head of Brand and Creative. Collaborating closely with Masterworks' founders, he has helped to spearhead a transformative period for the company, evolving its brand design, communication strategy, and advertising efforts. Jason's team’s efforts contributed to Masterworks being acknowledged as one of Interbrand's "Breakthrough Brands of the Year" in 2022 and securing a spot on LinkedIn's prestigious list of the "Top Start-ups" in 2023.

Before his tenure at Masterworks, Jason served as the Chief Creative Officer at Huge, where he led the department and his accomplishments earned him a place in Adweek's "Creative 100" and on Business Insider's list of the "30 Most Creative People in Advertising."

These efforts also culminated in Huge being recognized as Campaign Magazine's "Agency of the Year" and its inclusion in Fast Company's "Best Workplaces for Innovators" list.

Twelve years after Android’s creation, it had an 80% share of the smartphone market and powered over 2.5 billion active devices. The problem? When Android was created, no one knew how successful the platform would become so there was no formal brand identity system developed beyond the logo and a core color. Working in-house with Google, our team created Android’s first clear brand guidelines giving global partners building blocks to continue to express the brand with the same spirit of openness that the original designers intended.
Drawing inspiration from the unpredictable nature of the spring season itself, we developed a brand platform that encapsulated both the essence of the brand and the quality of the clothing. Across various media channels, we produced dozens of assets, each highlighting a specific attribute of spring's unpredictability and showcasing the garment's features designed to protect the wearer.
Fiat tasked us with developing a marketing strategy to boost sales of their entry-level Spider 124. To effectively reach this target audience, we reoriented our production and media budgets towards a non-traditional, social-first approach. Our creative concept incorporated a popular meme while still showcasing the car's unique features across hundreds of digital assets. This content functioned as a lead generator and also linked to a car configurator on-site. This initiative exceeded lead goals for the target demographic.
We set out to scientifically prove the power of confidence – in football and investing with a first-of-its-kind partnership between IBM and the NFL. We collaborated with IBM Watson to create a bespoke algorithm able to analyze participants’ social data and project the information in a digital environment measuring the confidence of NFL fans on social media.
The team partnered with Nike’s customization business unit to bring their e-commerce shopping experiences to life retail locations across the country. Traditionally, shoe customization took Nike at least a month to deliver. The challenge was to make the Nike pop-up customization experience feel as instant as possible. We solved this problem by working with Nike’s data and manufacturing teams to create novel solutions to produce customized shoes in minutes, not months.
To promote Bob Dylan’s most comprehensive box set ever released, we collaborated with Sony Music to seize the opportunity to engage an entirely new generation of fans. Our approach involved creating an immersive experience where users could virtually join Dylan in the studio and mix some of his most iconic tracks.
We introduced our new platform, "Invest in Every Moment," by reimagining the lyrics of the classic 1974 song, "Cat's in the Cradle," depicting a father who lets precious time with his son slip away. However, in our rendition, the father seizes every opportunity to invest in every moment. See if you can spot the rewrites we made to the lyrics. This was the first time the artist's estate granted permission for a brand to change the lyrics to his song.
